I want to express my thanks for your support and encouragement since I was elected Kitsap County Commissioner in 2006. You have enabled me to improve our community, and I am thankful and humbled by the opportunity to serve.
I am writing to announce my decision to run for re-election in 2010. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions on the challenges that face our community. As I begin the groundwork which is so vital when running for office, I ask for your financial support, as well. As you know, campaigns are costly and your generosity makes a difference and is greatly appreciated.
The past three years have presented many challenges. The economic downturn has affected each and every citizen. Despite these uncertain times, I am proud of the leadership and progress we have made in Kitsap County.
